BioNahounou Digbeu Amédée, a.k.a. Amédée Pierre, was an Ivorian musician who popularized the traditional music of Ivory Coast.
He began his career playing guitar and singing in local bands, gaining popularity in the 1960s with his blend of traditional Ivorian and Western music.
Pierre was a pioneer of the "zoblazo" style and released several albums, earning numerous awards for his contributions to Ivorian music.
He passed away in 2009, but his music remains a symbol of the country's cultural heritage.
