António Paulino Domingos, known by his music name António Paulino, is a legendary Angolan composer and musician. His music was a fusion of traditional Angolan rhythms with elements of jazz and rock, making it a unique and distinct sound. Paulino began his music career in 1971 and was a member of several popular music groups before becoming a solo artist. He produced many albums and singles, but his most notable single was "Gi Henda dia Mamã" (meaning: I Miss My Mother) in 1973, which expressed his grief and sorrow over the sudden loss of his mother. He is widely recognized for his contribution to the development of the Angolan music industry and remains an influential figure in the history of Angolan music.
