Bio
Born as the fifth of seven children in Masaka, Uganda, Dianah Rosemary Muwereza Nalubega, professionally known as Diana Nalubega or Mis Kazigo, is the daughter of the late Jasper Matovu and Jane Matovu. She began singing in childhood and rose to fame in 2012 with the release of her debut single, “Kabiite.” Her breakout success led to follow-up hits like “Kisumuluzo,” “Mpulunguse,” “Sisitira,” “Byendya,” and “Sukaali.” “Mpulunguse” earned her the Best Afrobeats Song award at the 2016 HiPipo Music Awards, and “Kisumuluzo” won the MTN Most Selling Song award. Fusing Afrobeats with Ugandan pop and writing mostly about love and relationships, Diana sings in Luganda and English. Her emotional delivery and catchy production have secured her a devoted fan base and a respected spot in Uganda’s contemporary music scene.
