Hotep Idris Galeta, was a talented jazz pianist and educator who made a significant impact on the South African jazz scene. He began playing piano at a young age and went on to study music at the University of Cape Town. Throughout his career, Galeta worked with numerous prominent jazz band. He also recorded several albums as a solo artist and bandleader. Galeta passed away leaving behind a legacy as a talented musician and educator who made significant contributions to South African jazz.
