Breaking into mainstream Afrobeats-consciousness in 2016 with the release of "Skin Tight" and "Holl Up", Mr. Eazi whose real name is Oluwatosin Ajibade, is one of the biggest Afrobeats artists of this time. His exploits include pioneering the Banku sound, a blend of modern afrobeats with Ghanaian highlife and pidgin; introducing the pon pon sound that defined Nigerian music from 2016 -2018; and running Empawa Africa, one of Africa's most successful label/distribution company.
