Sipho Magudulela is a well-known South African Afro-soul and jazz guitarist and singer-songwriter. Starting his musical journey at 11, inspired by Mpucuko Mthombeni, he discovered his songwriting talent and wrote his first song, "Buya." Influenced by guitar legends like Jimmy Dludlu and Jonathan Butler, Sipho's music uniquely blends soulful melodies and traditional African rhythms, reflecting a deep appreciation for South African culture. Beyond his solo work, Sipho is a notable figure in gospel music, having played for artists like Benjamin Dube. His debut EP, released in 2023, fuses gospel, afro-soul, and intricate guitar compositions. Collaborating with Amapiano giants, he earned nominations across country music platforms and a 2023 Global Music Awards South Africa Best Instrumentalist nomination.
