Teni, a Nigerian singer and songwriter born Teniola Apata, is the 9th of 10 children and the younger sister of popular singer Niniola. Teni's music is inspired by her surroundings and her spiritual connection to music. She has a passion for playing basketball and has a background in music, playing the drums in the school band. Teni had her breakthrough in the Nigerian music industry with the release of "Askamaya", "Case", and "Uyo Meyo". She's a brand ambassador and has signed several endorsement deals.
