Inetimi Timaya Odon, popularly known as Timaya, is a multi-awarding Nigerian singer-songwriter, philanthropist, and record label owner. He began his solo career in 2005 with the release of "Dem Mama", which also appeared on his debut album, True Story, released the following year. His subsequent albums have all been commercially successful, earning him numerous awards and nominations. Timaya is widely regarded as one of Nigeria's best, and his contributions to the African music scene have earned him a loyal fanbase across the globe.
