Nomfundo Ngcobo, better known as Nomfundo Moh, is a South African singer and songwriter from Ndwendwe, KwaZulu-Natal, celebrated for her emotive voice and Afro-pop sound.
She rose to prominence in 2020 with her platinum-certified breakthrough single “Lilizela”, which garnered widespread acclaim. In 2022, she released her debut album Amagama, blending Afro-pop, R&B, and traditional South African influences, featuring hits like “Umthwalo” and “Phakade Lami” (6× platinum). Her subsequent albums, "Ugcobo" (2023) and "Twenty Four" (2024) included fan favorites such as “Amalobolo” with Big Zulu, further cementing her commercial success.
Nomfundo has received nominations at the All Africa Music Awards (2022), Africa Entertainment Awards (2023), and Basadi in Music Awards. In 2023, she also won Highest AirPlay Song for “Soft Life.” In 2024, she received another nomination for Collaboration of the Year.
She also expanded into entrepreneurship by opening her restaurant La Mar in Johannesburg, reflecting her growing influence beyond music.
