They gained prominence with their 1972 hit cover of Jethro Tull's "Locomotive Breath," which charted for 14 weeks. After a temporary hiatus, they reunited in 1974, working with producer Patric van Blerk to record their debut album, "Boys Will Be Boys," in 1975. This album achieved gold status in South Africa and introduced Rabbitt to international audiences, with releases in the US, Japan, Germany, France, and the UK. Their follow-up album, "A Croak And A Grunt In The Night," also earned gold status upon release.
