"Afrodisiac" features Fela Kuti's first hit songs in Nigeria. The LP includes: "Alu Jon Jonki Jon," which tells a traditional Yoruba moonlight tale on selfishness and dishonesty; "Jeun Ko Ku" a song about greed; "Eko Ile" an homage to Lagos; and "Je’nwi Temi" Fela's first attack on the government.
